It's sold on Gumroad. You can choose between Essential ($99) and Pro ($199).

After checkout, you can find your licence key in the purchase receipt email and in your Gumroad library.

If you can't pay through Gumroad, I'll email you a separate payment link so you can pay with PayPal. Email temacaworks@kakao.com and tell me which plan you'd like.

Once you've paid, reply with a screenshot showing your payment details and the email address you want the licence registered to. I'll register it as soon as I've confirmed the payment.

It's not a subscription. It's a one-time purchase you can use with no time limit, and you'll keep receiving updates.

Yes. When you buy Essential, a personal one-time upgrade coupon appears in the Licence tab of TMC Hub. Press Upgrade to Pro to open a checkout page with the coupon applied, and you can buy Pro for $100.

After checkout, a new Pro licence key is sent to your purchase receipt email and your Gumroad library. Enter that Pro key in the Licence tab of TMC Hub and press Activate. It can take about 5 to 10 minutes for the change to show up.

Once the Pro key is issued, your Essential key can no longer be activated, and the computers registered with it are removed. Activate again with the Pro key on each computer you use. The 2-computer limit stays the same. If you pass the coupon on to someone else, your own key may be deactivated, so please keep it for your own use.

With Pro, you get the current 25 plugins plus any plugins added to TMC Plugins Pack in the future, at no extra cost.

The plugins included in Essential also continue to receive updates.

If you buy a quantity of 2 or more, you don't get several keys. Instead, one key works on more computers. For example, if you buy 2, one key works on up to 4 computers.

If you need a lot of seats, for example for a company, team, or school, I offer a separate multi-seat licence.

Yes. You can use it on commercial projects, whether that's personal work, freelance jobs, or client deliverables.

Refunds are available only if you request one within 7 days (1 week) of the purchase date. After 7 days have passed, a refund is no longer possible.

To request a refund, email temacaworks@kakao.com with the email address you used for the purchase.

Once a refund is processed, that key's access is removed and the devices registered to it are deactivated.

One licence key works on up to 2 computers at the same time, and you can mix Windows and Mac.

When you switch computers, press Deactivate this device in TMC Hub on the old computer and the seat frees up right away. There's no limit on how many times you can do this. If you reformat the same computer and reinstall, it's still recognized as the same device.

Let me know by email and I'll remove the broken computer's registration for you. Send your purchase email address and a short description of what happened to temacaworks@kakao.com.

The licence on your other computer keeps working as it is, and on the new computer you just activate again, whether it's Windows or Mac. If reformatting or replacing parts made a computer take up an extra seat, I'll handle that the same way.

I can change the email used for TMC Hub activation. Email me with your old and new addresses. Once the change is done, you can activate with the new email.

The email on your Gumroad account and receipts is managed by Gumroad, so I can't change it for you. Please change it on Gumroad yourself, or check your purchase history under the old email.

If anything goes wrong when you upgrade to Pro after changing your email, let me know by email and I'll look into it right away.

No. You only need a connection to install and activate. After that, TMC Hub renews your activation automatically.

Each renewal stays valid for 3 days. About 3 days after you last ran TMC Hub, the plugins become unlicensed and a watermark appears on your output. So if you've been offline for a long time, connect and press Renew licence once in the Hub.

No. Your licence is stored on the server, so it doesn't disappear even if you haven't used it for a long time or your activation lapses for a while. When you run TMC Hub again, your activation resumes automatically.

No. Licence keys can't be shared or resold, and faking device information or bypassing activation is also prohibited. If this is detected, the account is permanently suspended and that computer is blocked as well.

Normal situations such as reformatting or replacing parts don't count, so there's nothing to worry about.

Install TMC Hub, activate it with your licence key, and then press Install all in the Plugins tab. The full steps, with screenshots, are in the install guide.

When a new version is out, TMC Hub shows a notification. With After Effects closed, press Update all to latest to update everything at once.

You can see what changed in the Hub's News tab or in Update history on this site.

I don't recommend it. Version tracking, integrity checks, and cleanup all work through TMC Hub, so files you copy yourself can be left out of updates or get loaded twice.

No. Uninstalling the Hub leaves your plugins and licence in place. However, updates and activation renewal are handled by the Hub, so both of those stop once it's uninstalled.

To remove the plugins as well, run Remove all before you uninstall the Hub.

On the same computer, it works exactly the same in aerender (command-line rendering). Licences are per computer, so please activate render-only computers within your device limit.

It works with After Effects 2024 or later, and 25.6 or later is recommended. Support for 2024 was added in a patch and hasn't been verified on every setup, so if you run into a problem, please let me know by email.

The plugins are installed in Adobe's shared folder, which every AE version reads, so even if you use several versions, you only need to install once.

Yes. Both Apple Silicon Macs and Intel Macs are supported.

Yes. GPU acceleration uses CUDA on NVIDIA, OpenCL on AMD and Intel, and Metal on Mac. If there's no GPU or acceleration isn't available, it switches to the CPU automatically. The features are the same.

They follow the language setting of After Effects. The default is English, and if you use After Effects in Korean, Japanese, or Chinese, the parameter names appear in that language.

Each plugin page on this site has a Quick start and a Parameter guide. With most plugins, you get results by starting from a preset or the defaults and changing just a few values.

TMC Hub contains no malware. A version that had been working without problems is being wrongly flagged (a false positive) on some PCs because Windows Defender changed its detection criteria.

I've submitted it to Microsoft as a false positive, and Microsoft's analysis also came back "no malware" for both the cloud and the client. Once the final determination is made, the Defender detection will be lifted automatically.

Waiting while it's quarantined or deleted won't affect your PC or your data, and your licence won't disappear or need to be bought again. However, if you can't run TMC Hub for more than 3 days, a watermark will appear on your output, so please keep that in mind when planning your work.

To fix this for good, I'm in the process of getting a code signing certificate. When a signed version is released, I'll let you know in the Hub's News tab.

This is a standard notice macOS shows the first time you open a new app from a small developer. You only need to allow it once, and the steps are in "First launch" in the install guide.

① Check that your After Effects version is 2024 or later (Windows: Help → About After Effects; Mac: After Effects → About After Effects). 25.6 or later is recommended.

② Quit After Effects completely, then launch it again.

③ In the TMC Hub Plugins tab, check that the plugin isn't marked Not installed.

④ If a Move to MediaCore button is showing in the Plugins tab, press it to clean up copies left in other folders.

⑤ Type TMC into the Effects & Presets search box.

This happens when the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) is missing or out of date. Run the official Microsoft installer, then restart the PC.

If the same error still appears, check that your antivirus hasn't quarantined the files.

① Check that you entered exactly the email you used for the Gumroad payment.

② Delete any spaces before or after the key.

③ Check the reason shown on screen. If it says "You have used every device slot", press Deactivate this device in TMC Hub on a computer you no longer use.

Quit both After Effects and aerender, make sure you allowed the UAC or password prompt, then try again. If it still fails, restart the computer and try again.

Usually this means the automatic renewal fell behind because the computer was offline for a long time. Check your internet connection and press Renew licence in the Licence tab, and it recovers right away.

In the Info tab, check which acceleration mode this computer uses (CUDA · OpenCL · Metal · CPU Only), and try updating your GPU driver to the latest version.

Yes, send them anytime. It helps a lot if you email temacaworks@kakao.com with specifics: things that bothered you while using the plugins, features you'd like added or improved, or even "I wish there were a plugin like this."

I'll review each request to see whether it's feasible and add what I can. When something is added, I'll mention it in the update notes.

Please send it by email. Problem reports are the first thing I check and fix.

Include your operating system and After Effects version, the plugin name, and what you were doing when the problem happened. If possible, also send a screenshot or screen recording, plus a screenshot of the device card in TMC Hub's Info tab. That helps me solve it much faster.
